Frequently Asked Questions

A Limo FAQ

Straight answers about booking, pricing, airport pickups, corporate travel, our fleet, and long-distance trips across Texas.

Booking & Pricing

How does A Limo's pricing work?

Our pricing is flat-rate and quoted upfront. The quote you receive is the price you pay — no hidden fees and no surge-pricing surprises when demand spikes or a flight lands during rush hour.

Your rate already includes the base rate, the fuel surcharge, and standard tolls and fees. Published starting rates are: Business Sedan from $119, Luxury Sedan from $189, Business SUV from $139, Luxury SUV from $189, Business Sprinter from $189 (3-hour minimum), and Jet Sprinter from $259 (3-hour minimum). Our Executive Coach is quoted custom by trip.

What is included in the quoted rate?

Every quote covers a professional, uniformed chauffeur, a clean and well-maintained vehicle, flight tracking on airport runs, and the built-in meet-and-greet wait window. Base rate, fuel surcharge, and standard tolls and fees are all included in the price you are quoted.

Gratuity is at your discretion and is not required. Many guests add 15 to 20 percent, which can be included on the ride or handled directly with your chauffeur.

How do I make a reservation?

Call our toll-free line at (888) 202-0258 or email info@a.limo. Share your date, pickup and drop-off addresses, party size, and — for airport runs — your flight number and terminal, and we will match you with the right vehicle and confirm your flat rate.

We serve the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of booking, so you know exactly where you stand before your reservation is locked in. Because trips vary by vehicle class and timing, the specifics are reviewed with you when you reserve.

If you need to change or cancel, call the toll-free line at (888) 202-0258 as early as you can and we will walk you through your options.

How far in advance should I book?

Earlier is always better, especially for weekends, peak wedding season, and busy convention or game days, when specific vehicles book up first. For time-sensitive trips like airport arrivals or client-facing pickups, reserving ahead guarantees the exact vehicle you want.

For last-minute needs, call (888) 202-0258 and we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

Airport Transfers

Do you track flights?

Yes. The moment you share your flight number, we begin monitoring it by tail number rather than your scheduled time. If your inbound to DFW International or Dallas Love Field is early, delayed, or diverted, your chauffeur's arrival time adjusts automatically.

This matters most during the afternoon storm cells that push North Texas arrivals back by 30 to 90 minutes in spring and summer. Because we watch the actual aircraft, your car is staged to meet the plane you are really on.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing changes on your end. We follow the flight in real time and re-stage the vehicle for the new arrival, so a delay never becomes your problem and there is no surge charge for landing during a busy window.

We also build in a grace window for domestic and international arrivals so deplaning, immigration, and baggage claim are covered without a rushed feeling.

What is the difference between meet-and-greet and curbside pickup?

Meet-and-greet is the white-glove option: your chauffeur parks, walks inside, waits at baggage claim with a name sign, and helps with your luggage back to the vehicle. It is the easiest choice for first-time visitors, hosted clients, and anyone with checked bags. For international arrivals at DFW International's Terminal D, we strongly recommend it because customs timing varies widely.

Curbside is faster and ideal for carry-on-only travelers who know the airport. At DFW International you are met at your terminal, and at Love Field at the designated ride pickup zone outside baggage claim. Either way, your chauffeur calls or texts once you are on the ground.

Do you serve both DFW International and Dallas Love Field?

Yes, we cover both airports from anywhere in the metroplex. Dallas Love Field is minutes from Uptown and the Medical District — typically 10 to 20 minutes from Downtown Dallas — making it the fast choice for a quick turn. DFW International handles long-haul and international arrivals and is usually 25 to 40 minutes from Downtown Dallas depending on traffic.

From Irving's Las Colinas district, DFW International is often just 10 to 15 minutes away — among the shortest transfers in the region.

Which vehicle should I choose for an airport run?

Solo travelers and couples with normal luggage are well served by a Business Sedan (up to 3, from $119) or Luxury Sedan (up to 3, from $189). Families, golf clubs, and extra suitcases fit better in a Business SUV or Luxury SUV (up to 6, from $139 and $189).

Arriving crews, wedding parties, and corporate groups can take a Business Sprinter (up to 12) or Jet Sprinter (up to 10), while large delegations use our Executive Coach (up to 50) on a custom quote.

Corporate Travel

Do you offer corporate billing accounts?

Corporate accounts are available on request. Rather than paying trip by trip on personal cards, an account puts your company's rides under one ongoing relationship. Billing arrangements and terms are agreed directly with our team when the account is set up.

To discuss setting one up for your company, call (888) 202-0258 or email info@a.limo.

Can you handle a multi-stop roadshow?

Yes — a roadshow that touches Dallas, Plano, Irving, and Fort Worth in a single day is exactly where a dedicated vehicle pays off. With hourly charter, the same chauffeur and vehicle stay with you between meetings, so nobody waits for a new car at each stop and your materials stay in the vehicle.

Depending on group size, that might be a Business SUV, a Luxury SUV, or a Business Sprinter for the whole team.

How do you handle visiting out-of-town executives?

We track the inbound flight by tail number and adjust automatically for early or delayed landings, then greet your executive at baggage claim with a name sign so they are never left to find their own way. That first impression is difficult to replicate with an on-demand app.

For visitors coming to Legacy West, Las Colinas, or downtown offices, we make ground travel effortless from the moment they land through their final drop-off.

Why choose corporate car service over rideshare?

A corporate car service assigns a specific chauffeur and vehicle to your reservation in advance. The car is confirmed, staged, and waiting regardless of weather or demand — the difference between a client greeted on time and a client standing at the curb during a convention or storm delay.

When you are hosting clients or executives, the vehicle and the driver are an extension of your brand, and our uniformed chauffeurs deliver the same polished experience every time.

Weddings & Events

How far in advance should I book wedding transportation?

For a Saturday wedding during peak season, reserve six to nine months out. Dallas-Fort Worth has two crowded windows — mid-March through May, and September through early November — when venues from Dallas to Fort Worth to Frisco are fully booked and popular Saturday dates sell out first.

Off-peak dates and weekday weddings offer more flexibility, but even then three to four months of lead time protects you from holiday weekends and large local events that pull chauffeured vehicles off the board.

Can you coordinate multiple pickups across the metroplex?

Yes. A ceremony in Fort Worth with a reception in Dallas, or a hotel block in Plano feeding a venue in McKinney, means real drive time in Friday and Saturday evening traffic. Share the ceremony, photo, and reception addresses when you book so we can build a realistic timeline with buffer between stops rather than a rushed one.

Many venues have specific arrival lanes, gated entries, or valet coordination — tell us about any preferred drop-off point or curfew rule and we will route around it.

Do you provide a getaway car?

Yes, the getaway car is one of our most requested add-ons. A Luxury Sedan (up to 3, from $189) or Luxury SUV (up to 6, from $189) makes a clean exit for the couple, and it can double as your ride to a hotel or after-party.

For guests, running a Business Sprinter (up to 12) or Executive Coach (up to 50, custom quote) in loops between the hotel block and the venue keeps everyone safe, on time, and out of parking headaches.

How do I match vehicles to my guest count?

Start with the wedding party and immediate family before thinking about guests. A couple plus a photographer fits a Luxury Sedan (up to 3), a full bridal party is comfortable in a Luxury SUV (up to 6) or a Jet Sprinter luxury van (up to 10, 3-hour minimum, from $259), and guest shuttles run best in a Business Sprinter (up to 12) or Executive Coach (up to 50).

Nothing needs to be final when you call — we can hold a plan and refine the details as your date nears.

Fleet & Capacity

What is the difference between your Business and Luxury classes?

Both Business and Luxury classes deliver a professional chauffeur and an immaculate vehicle; the Luxury tier steps up to our first-class sedans and full-size luxury SUVs for VIP arrivals, executives, and understated first-class comfort. A Business Sedan (from $119) and Business SUV (from $139) are ideal for airport runs, meetings, and point-to-point trips, while the Luxury Sedan and Luxury SUV (both from $189) set the tone for premium occasions.

For groups, the Business Sprinter (up to 12, from $189) suits corporate teams and shuttles, while the Jet Sprinter (up to 10, from $259) offers lounge-style captain seating for first-class group travel.

How many passengers can each vehicle carry?

Our sedans seat up to 3 passengers, our SUVs up to 6, the Business Sprinter up to 12, the Jet Sprinter up to 10 with lounge-style seating, and the Executive Coach up to 50 for large events and guest shuttles.

If you are between sizes or carrying extra luggage or gear, call (888) 202-0258 and we will recommend the right fit.

What amenities are in the vehicles?

Every vehicle in our fleet is a late-model car maintained to absolute perfection, with a pristine black exterior, luxurious leather seating, and a quiet, meticulously clean cabin. The Jet Sprinter adds lounge-style captain seating for first-class group travel.

Each ride comes with a professional, uniformed chauffeur committed to a smooth, discreet experience from pickup to drop-off.

Do the Sprinters have a minimum booking time?

Yes. Both the Business Sprinter (from $189) and the Jet Sprinter (from $259) carry a 3-hour minimum. Our sedans and SUVs have no such minimum and can be booked for straightforward point-to-point trips.

The Executive Coach (up to 50) is quoted custom by trip — call (888) 202-0258 for details.

Intercity & Long Distance

Do you drive from Dallas to other Texas cities?

Yes. We run point-to-point intercity trips from Dallas and the DFW metroplex to destinations across Texas, including Austin (about 195 miles, roughly 3 to 3.5 hours), Houston (about 240 miles, roughly 3.5 to 4 hours), Abilene (about 180 miles, roughly 2.5 to 3 hours), and Midland-Odessa (about 330 to 350 miles, roughly 4.5 to 5.5 hours).

These are chauffeured trips originating from Dallas and DFW; we do not operate a local fleet in those destination cities.

How is intercity pricing calculated?

Intercity trips are quoted custom based on distance and vehicle class rather than a fixed published rate. Tell us your destination, travel dates, and party size, and we will build a flat, upfront quote with no surge pricing.

Call (888) 202-0258 or email info@a.limo to get your route priced.

Can I book a one-way trip or a round trip?

Both are available. A one-way trip covers the drive from Dallas or DFW to your destination, while a round trip includes your return. Round trips can also hold the same chauffeur and vehicle for the day if your schedule calls for it.

Let us know which structure fits your plans and we will quote accordingly.

Can you handle a multi-city itinerary?

Yes. If your trip strings together several destinations from Dallas, share the full itinerary — stops, dates, and timing — and we will map a realistic plan with honest drive times built in.

Multi-city trips are quoted custom by distance and vehicle class; call (888) 202-0258 to arrange one.

Trust & Safety

How are your chauffeurs vetted?

Our drivers are rigorously vetted, professionally trained, and committed to your safety and privacy. When you are hosting clients or riding to an important event, the chauffeur is an extension of the experience, and we hold every driver to that standard.

Chauffeurs are uniformed and know DFW routes, venue entrances, and how to move quietly and discreetly during a working ride.

Is A Limo licensed and insured?

Yes. A Limo operates as a licensed and insured chauffeured transportation provider under operating authority {{OPERATING_AUTHORITY_NUMBER}}.

If you need documentation for a corporate account or venue requirement, call (888) 202-0258 and we will provide it.

How do you keep the vehicles clean and safe?

Every vehicle is a late-model car maintained to absolute perfection, with a quiet, meticulously clean cabin on every trip. Flawless upkeep is part of the service, not an occasional detail.

Combined with professional, safety-focused chauffeurs, the result is a consistent, worry-free ride whether it is a first visit or a fifth site tour this quarter.

Is my privacy protected during a ride?

Yes. Discretion is central to how we operate. Our chauffeurs are trained to give executives and guests space to work, take calls, or simply decompress, and they move quietly through the metroplex without intruding on your time.

For sensitive client-facing trips and executive travel, that discretion is exactly why professional chauffeur service outperforms an on-demand app.
